Scammers have crafted rather clever emails pretending to come from the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. Their aim: to con people out of nearly €300.
The email informs recipients that they received an erroneous tax refund, to the tune of € 297.95. The cause it said to be a system error in December 2017. The recipients are asked to repay the amount to an ING bank number given in the email.
