Ignore scam email from ‘PayPal’

Scammers are once again using the brand name of PayPal in fake emails, which demand that users confirm their personal information. Don’t do this.

This message has been sent by con artists looking to steal your confidential information. This shady practice is called phishing. These criminals are simply trying to scare people by suggesting that unauthorized access to their account has been detected. Here’s an example of this scam email (click to enlarge):

Delete this message from your inbox. Trustworthy companies will never send emails to ask you to confirm your account. This trick is only used by scammers.
